International Journal of Infectious Diseases (IJID) is the official publication of the International Society for Infectious Diseases and is now published on a monthly basis. The Journal aims to provide a source of information relevant to professionals involved in the epidemiology, clinical diagnosis, treatment and control of infectious diseases with particular emphasis placed on those disease which are most common in less-developed countries.

IJID publishes original clinical and laboratory-based research, together with reports of clinical trials, reviews and some case reports.
